About the open role:  


We are looking for an Accountant in the Financial Department to join Setanta Sports at a very exciting time, as we have ambitious plans to drive customer acquisition and online growth in 15 CEE, As an Accountant, your mission will be to manage accounting processes for the company, including accurate financial paperwork preparation and compliance with legislation.



What you’ll do:  

  • Collect, organize and display the primary financial documentation in the internal database and accounting software;

  • Manage all technical aspects of banking operations while adhering to timelines;

  • Control and record data on debtors/creditors and regularly check data’s convenience;

  • Prepare the accounting bases for monthly declarations;

    Integrate fixed assets in the accounting software in accordance with the program’s policy;

  • Participate in the financial and tax audit process periodically according to the necessity;

  • Follow the recent legal developments/changes and inform team members accordingly.


What we expect from you:   

  •  Professional experience in a similar position;

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures;

  • Working experience with software like 1C,ERP, and “Navision”(BC365) is an advantage;

  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables;

  • Knowledge of English and Russian on the B2 level is a must;

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills;

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines;

  • Able to give and receive constructive feedback;

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, work collaboratively and contribute to the team environment.
