About the open role:
As a Database Developer at Setanta Sports, your mission will be to ensure the stability and performance of the Data Warehouse (DWH) by developing and optimizing database structures, creating complex scripts, and troubleshooting existing processes to support seamless data analysis and decision-making.
What you’ll do:
Develop and optimize database structures, store procedures, packages;
Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of the Data Warehouse (DWH);
Create complex scripts and jobs for data analysts;
Debug and troubleshoot existing database packages, functions, procedures, and jobs.
What we expect from you:
Proficient with relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and supporting programming languages;
Strong knowledge of database system objects, views, and schemas;
Solid experience with writing and optimizing advanced queries;
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills;
Good command of the English language (written and verbal);
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment;
Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools is a plus.
