About the open role:

We are looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer to ensure the security of the company’s information systems and data, reduce cyber risks, and maintain compliance with security standards in order to support uninterrupted and secure business operations.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, implement, and monitor information security policies and procedures;

• Analyze the company’s IT infrastructure security, identify vulnerabilities, and propose improvement recommendations;

• Conduct regular security testing of systems and networks (e.g., Vulnerability Assessments).

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents;

• Configure and administer security controls (firewall, IDS/IPS, antivirus, SIEM systems);

• Deliver training sessions to raise employee awareness of information security;

• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR or applicable regulations) and participate in audits;

• Define security requirements for new systems and ensure their implementation;

• Report security incidents to management and prepare recommended action plans;

What we expect from you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field;

• Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in information or IT security;

• Experience in security testing, system analysis, and implementation of security solutions;

• Knowledge of network architectures, operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases, and virtualization security;

• Experience working with firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and SIEM systems;

• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and security best practices;

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 or NIST standards is an advantage;

• Information security certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are considered a plus;

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;

• High sense of responsibility;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Good communication skills, including the ability to explain security risks in both technical and business terms;
