About the open role:


We are looking for a motivated Night Shift DevOps Engineer to support and maintain our cloud infrastructure during overnight operations. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in AWS services, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, with some hands-on experience in containerization, security, and monitoring. This role specifically requires working night shifts to ensure 24/7 system reliability.



What you’ll do:


  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot production workloads during night operations;

  • Support and optimize AWS infrastructure, including ECS/EKS, S3, CloudFront, Amplify, Load Balancers, WAF, Secrets Manager, and more;

  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform;

  • Manage and improve CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions;

  • Configure monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch for proactive incident response;

  • Assist with deployment automation, scaling, and system reliability;

  • Collaborate with development and NOC/monitoring teams to resolve issues and improve processes;

  • Escalate and document incidents, ensuring smooth handoff to day teams;



Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Terraform for IaC;

  • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation;

  • Basic Linux, networking, and troubleshooting skills;

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently at night;

  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with Dev and NOC/monitoring teams;

  • Availability to work night shifts;



Work Schedule:

  • Night Shift: Monday_Friday 21:00 to 09:00

  • Weekends: Two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday (09:00–21:00 & 21:00–09:00) – rotated among team
