About the open role:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Node.js / MongoDB / AWS Developer to join our Night Shift Operations team, working closely with our Network Operations Center (NOC). This role is crucial for maintaining platform stability during non-business hours, addressing real-time production incidents, and implementing urgent technical fixes as needed.

This is a mission-critical role where your ability to act fast and think clearly during production incidents can directly impact the performance and reputation of the business. You’ll be the first line of technical defense during off-hours.
What you’ll do:
Monitor production systems in collaboration with the NOC team.
Investigate, triage, and resolve incoming technical incidents or partner requests.
Apply quick technical fixes to maintain system uptime and performance.
Analyze recurring incidents and suggest permanent solutions.
Ensure logs, alerts, and monitoring tools are functioning properly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to hand over key findings and resolutions to day teams.
Maintain a detailed record of overnight issues, actions taken, and outcomes.
Tech Stack & Tools:
Backend: Node.js
Database: MongoDB
Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
Monitoring Tools: [Specify, e.g., Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, etc.]
Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js development
Strong experience with MongoDB in production environments
Solid understanding of AWS services, deployment, and monitoring
Experience with real-time incident resolution and production debugging
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Strong communication skills for effective coordination and documentation
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with incident management practices (e.g., ITIL)
Prior experience working in NOC/SRE environments
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
Work Schedule:
Night Shift: Monday_Friday 21:00 to 09:00
Weekends: Two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday (09:00–21:00 & 21:00–09:00) – rotated among team
