About the open role:

As a Product Team Lead, you are responsible for coordinating technical execution and ensuring high-quality delivery within the scope of a product. Your main goal is to transform product ideas into stable, scalable, and well-architected technical solutions aligned with business goals and company strategy.

This role combines technical leadership and delivery coordination and serves as a key connection point between product, engineering, and other involved teams.

You operate within an established engineering leadership structure. This role does not include administrative management. Team members report to their functional managers, while you coordinate technical work, support execution, and ensure quality within the product scope.

What you’ll do:

Technical Leadership & Coordination

• Coordinate technical activities within the product scope

• Align work across different technical domains and teams

• Ensure consistency and quality of technical decisions

• Translate product and business requirements into technical tasks

• Escalate technical risks and issues when needed

Delivery & Execution

• Participate in product planning and execution

• Support task breakdown and prioritization

• Contribute to sprint planning and delivery execution

• Monitor timelines, quality, and delivery outcomes

• Identify and manage technical risks

Quality, Stability & Technical Excellence

• Ensure adherence to code quality standards, architecture principles, and best practices

• Support testing, monitoring, security, and documentation practices

• Ensure production stability and reliability

• Analyze incidents (root cause analysis) and drive improvements

• Support system scalability and long-term sustainability

Team Support & Engineering Culture

• Provide technical guidance and support to specialists involved in the product

• Deliver constructive feedback and mentorship

• Encourage knowledge sharing and best practices

• Foster a strong, collaborative engineering culture

Communication & Collaboration

• Work closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders

• Communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences

• Ensure transparency and alignment across teams and processes

• Participate in technical discussions and decision-making

Continuous Improvement

• Initiate improvements in technical processes and workflows

• Introduce new tools, approaches, and best practices

• Support continuous evolution of the product and systems

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript, including 2+ years in a leadership, mentoring, or senior ownership role;

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design patterns;

• Hands-on experience with Kafka, SQS, or similar message brokers, including event processing and asynchronous workflows;

• Solid experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, handling caching strategies, concurrency, and performance optimization;

• Strong AWS experience, including ECS/EKS or Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch;
  High-level understanding of networking and security concepts, including VPC, EC2, IAM, WAF, and secure service communication;

• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimization;

• Strong experience with Kafka internals, including topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, and delivery semantics (at-least-once / exactly-once);

• Hands-on experience with Redisfor caching, sessions, rate-limiting, and performance tuning;

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams;

-Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)/ Remote
