About the open role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating our cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines. Your primary focus will be infrastructure automation, containerized deployments, and ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.

You’ll work closely with backend engineers to support application deployments, optimize cloud resources, and continuously improve CI/CD workflows. This role is highly hands-on and suited for someone who enjoys owning infrastructure end-to-end and making engineering teams more effective through automation and reliability.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, manage, and evolve infrastructure using Terraform;

• Optimize and operate AWS services, including EC2, RDS, MongoDB, ElastiCache, and related components;

• Create and maintain Dockerfiles for containerized applications;

• Deploy, manage, and scale containers using ECS and/or EKS;

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelinesusing GitHub Actions or similar tools;

• Write, review, and maintain YAML configurationsfor workflows and deployments;

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost of cloud resources;

• Collaborate with development teams to support application releases and infrastructure needs;

• Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous infrastructure improvements;

What we expect from you:  

• trong hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, Docker, ECS/EKS;

• Deep understanding of GitHub, YAML, and CI/CD workflows;

• Practical experience working with MongoDB, RDS, and ElastiCache;

• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with technical teams;

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash;

• Familiarity with additional cloud providers or serverless architectures;

• Experience working in Agile, fast-paced engineering environments;

Nice to have:

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools;

• Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments;

• Experience optimizing infrastructure cost and performance;

• Experience supporting production systems at scale;

• Office Location: Stamba Hotel (14 M. Kostava street)
